Master of Music: Piano Accompanying and Chamber Music
Students completing this sub plan will:
- develop the skills and demonstrate proficiency in all areas of collaborative piano work, including: vocal, instrumental, chamber music, opera, choral, and large ensemble
- acquire and interpret knowledge of historical performance practices within the vocal, chamber music, and piano repertoire
- comprehend, practice, and demonstrate the fundamentals and advanced technical, musical, and artistic development necessary for success as a professional pianist
- demonstrate effective communication and rehearsal techniques in collaborative settings

In addition to materials requested on the on-line application, prospective Piano Accompanying and Chamber Music students must submit a 15 minute audio/visual recording that includes a solo piano work and a collaborative work (e.g. - a movement of an instrumental sonata and or/ a set of two-three vocal works).
