Letter from the director
It is my pleasure to invite you and your band to participate
in Northern Arizona University's Band Day. Due to the high number of entries
from Arizona and surrounding states, we will be limiting the number of
participating groups to 40. Given the overwhelming success of last year's Band Day,
we urge you to submit your application as soon as possible.
The 40 available time slots will be assigned on a
first-come, first-served basis. No times will be reserved until payment has
been received, either by:
- money order
- purchase order
Entries exceeding the cap will be placed on a waiting list,
according to postmark date. Notification of your group's acceptance or
placement on the waiting list will be sent after receipt of application and payment.
Bands will be assigned classification based on their ABODA assignment.
The entry fee for this year's festival is $300.00. Entry fees can be offset by placing an
advertisement and/or 'Shout Out' in the Band Day program. For more information on how you

All applications are due by September 29, 2013. It is to your advantage
to submit your online registration and payment early.
We commend the outstanding performances of last year's bands
and look forward to your band's participation in Band Day.
