Tuesday, August 23rd

1:00pm Drum line (only) meets in room 146 of the school of music (building 37) Orientation meeting 

1:30pm Drum line auditions/placements begin in room 146 

3:30pm Drum line begins first rehearsal 

5:30pm Dinner 

7:00pm Rehearsal resumes in room 146 

9:00pm Rehearsal concludes for the evening

Wednesday, August 24th

8:30am Drum line rehearsal in room 146 

11:30am Lunch 

1:00pm Drum line rehearsal in room 146
Leadership meets in room 147 (not Kristi-Lynn); Leadership will follow Tackitt’s schedule, provided during the 1:00pm meeting 

3:00pm Drum line break 

3:30pm Drum line continues rehearsal in room 146 

5:30pm Dinner (leadership and drum line) 

7:00pm Rehearsals continue (leadership and drum line) 

9:00pm Rehearsals conclude

Thursday, August 25th

9-11:45am Dormitory move in (everyone)

9-noon Returning members can assist with moving instruments/equipment down to the Skydome.  Trucks are a big help

12:00pm Orientation meeting inside of Skydome (on the field, in the SOUTHERN end  zone) 

12:45pm Registration begins.  Held on the field, in the southern end zone 

2:30pm Rehearsal begins in the Skydome

5:30pm Dinner on your own/with your section 

7:00pm Rehearsal continues in the Skydome 

9:00pm Rehearsal concludes

Friday, August 26th

8:30am Rehearsal on outdoor football practice fields 

11:30am Lunch on your own/with your section 

12:30pm Rehearsal in Skydome 

3:30pm Rehearsal concludes
If you do not perform downtown, feel free to support your fellow Lumberjack Marching Band members during their performance, at 5:30pm, at the Square downtown Flagstaff! There will be a uniform fitting this night—be sure to follow uniform fitting instructions.  All uniform fittings will happen in the school of music, building 37, in rooms 146 or 147. If you are performing downtown for the pep rally (announced at camp), follow this schedule: 

4:40pm Be in jeans, white shoes, white socks, and NAU spirit shirt (provided to you), at the Skydome, for transportation down town.

5:30pm Pep Rally begins 

6:30pm You most likely will be done by 6:30pm—remain flexible on the end time.  There will be a uniform fitting this night—be sure to follow uniform fitting  instructions.  All uniform fittings will happen in the school of music, building 37,  in rooms 146 or 147.

Saturday, August 27th

9:00am Rehearsal on outdoor practice fields 

12:00pm Lunch on your own/with your section 

1:30pm Rehearsal inside Skydome 

4:00pm KKY/TBS BBQ / Uniform fitting follow up
Get some rest.  Fall ensemble auditions are on Sunday, August 28th.  Be sure to schedule an audition time on the band website (www.symphonicwinds.nau.edu) if you intend on performing in a fall concert ensemble.  All audition materials are available on the band website as well.

Sunday, August 28th

12:00-6:00pm Ensemble auditions in the school of music.  
Placements will be posted late in the evening.  Wind Symphony’s first rehearsal will be Tuesday, August 30th; Symphonic Band’s first rehearsal will be Wednesday evening, September 7th.

Monday, August 29th

First day of classes for the semester…begin fall rehearsal schedule 

11:35-12:20pm Drum line rehearsal in dome (Monday and Friday; Wednesday outside) 

12:40-2:40pm Full band rehearsal in dome (Monday and Friday; Wednesday outside)
