Enhance your career opportunities

Our Bachelor of Arts in Spanish offers you a degree that provides you with proficiency in Spanish, the second most spoken language in the US. You complete courses in conversation, grammar, linguistics, film, culture and literature.

We also are developing a new emphasis in the Modern Languages degree specifically targeted at students in engineering and sciences. The new program will allow you to develop your Spanish abilities while completing a degree in science or engineering, and an internship abroad.

The Global Languages faculty are also partnering with the Center for International Education to build a study abroad program in Costa Rica dedicated to providing you a fulfilling study abroad experience and offering you our very own Spanish courses so that you do not have a skip a beat in completing your Spanish major or minor.
