Enhance your career opportunities

Our Bachelor of Arts in Spanish offers you a degree that provides you with proficiency in Spanish, the second most spoken language in the US. You complete courses in conversation, grammar, linguistics, film, culture and literature.

We also developed a new emphasis in the Modern Languages IGP degree specifically targeted at students in engineering and sciences (GSEP) and Business (IBP). This new program allows students to develop their Spanish abilities while completing a degree in science & engineering or Business and do an internship abroad.

The Global Languages faculty are also partnering with the Center for International Education in a study abroad program in Costa Rica dedicated to providing students with a fulfilling study abroad experience that offers them our very own Spanish courses so they do not skip a beat in completing their Spanish major or minor.
