How to Apply for Graduation

Procedure

Congratulations on your upcoming graduation! There are a few steps you need to complete in order to be eligible for graduation:

  1. Print out a Graduation Application packet.
  2. Print out a degree progress report from your LOUIE account.
  3. Meet with your faculty adviser to fill out the graduation application and review your degree progress report.
  4. Get the signatures of your adviser and the department chair on your graduation application. Your adviser will tell you if you should take the completed application to Comparative Cultural Studies department office or the College of Arts and Letters Dean.
  5. The College of Arts and Letters will send your application packet to the Registrar’s office.
  6. A $35.00 graduation application fee will be applied to your LOUIE account. You must pay this fee and resolve any financial holds on your account to receive your diploma.

Deadlines

All graduation materials due to the College of Arts and Letters by the following dates:

Fall/Winter 2011 graduates:

April 15, 2011 

Spring/Summer 2011 graduates:

November 15, 2011
