If you want to explore the field of museum studies and/or employment in museums, our Museum Studies minor can help. Museum Studies core classes help you understand the theory and practice needed to study or have a career in a museum.

What is an internship credit?

Internship credits involve work as an intern in a gallery, museum, or other appropriate institution.

What is a project credit?

Project credits will require you to complete a research project culminating in either a paper on museums and/or museology, an exhibition, or some other appropriate endeavor.

A final project will help you demonstrate your ability to combine your classroom and real world experiences in a meaningful way.
