Asian Studies minor
The interdisciplinary minor in Asian Studies requires taking six courses (18 hours minimum) selected from a minimum of three different disciplines from a course repertoire of over 70 courses regularly offered at NAU. The student's program would be greatly strengthened by including the study of an Asian language, two courses of which may be counted towards the Asian studies minor. For more information, visit the webpage of the Asian Studies Program. In addition to Asian Studies, NAU students may also minor in either Japanese language of Chinese language through the Department of Global Languages and Cultures.
NAU has exchange programs in Asia and the Middle East, through which students may earn credits. Contact the Center for International Education for more information. In order to begin your minor in Asian Studies you need to see one of the Asian Studies Faculty and take a look at the Asian Studies Courses that are available to you.
