Online Orientation

After paying your enrollment deposit, you should receive the link for the Online Orientation via your NAU email account. If you are younger than 21 years and have fewer than 24 credits, call 928-523-8387 to ensure you receive the link for Online Orientation and are excused from the Freshman Orientation.

Online Orientation will walk you through all steps necessary to enroll at the university and become a successful student. This includes completing Priority Enrollment. Online Orientation is required prior to speaking with an academic advisor and to enroll in your first term classes.  

Prior to completing the online orientation please complete the following:

In-Person Student Veteran Orientation 

Thursday, Aug. 25 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Veteran Success Center 

In addition to completing the Online Orientation, new student veterans on NAU's Flagstaff campus should attend our Student Veteran Orientation. Enjoy lunch on us.  An optional academic readiness workshop specifically for those who are transitioning from military to college will be available following the student veteran orientation session. 

The Orientation will cover: 

 VA Education benefits process and requirements specific to NAU

  • Key campus resource presentations 
  • Academic and advising information for student success
  • An opportunity to meet our staff and fellow veteran students
The Veteran Student Center is located on the first floor of the NAU Fieldhouse, which is adjacent to the University Union, building 30.
