Friday, Jan. 15
8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This one-day session helps new students transition to the university. Check-in and a continental breakfast begins at 8 a.m. at Cline Library (bldg. 28); the program begins at 9 a.m. Plan for a full day that includes:

  • Welcome presentation
  • Strategies for success
  • “Lumberjacks on Campus” staff panel discussion
  • Brunch
  • Academic sessions with presentations about academic colleges
  • Scholarships and Financial Aid presentations
  • Louie’s Big Adventures and Campus Tour

Fall 2016

These two-day sessions help new students transition to the university. The program includes:

Day 1:

  • Check-in, lunch, and student services expo
  • Welcome session presentations 
  • Academic sessions with presentations about academic colleges
  • Living on Campus presentation
  • Dinner
  • “True Life: I’m A Lumberjack”
  • Lumberjack challenge and dance party

Day 2:

  • Breakfast
  • Informational breakout sessions
  • Academic advising and enrollment (one-on-one meetings with academic advisors) 
  • Individual appointments with financial aid counselors

Available Orientation Dates:

May 31 and June 1
June 2 and 3
June 6 and 7
June 10 and 11
June 13 and 14
June 17 and 18
June 20 and 21
June 22 and 23
June 24 and 25
June 27 and 28
June 29 and 30
Aug. 25-27 Available ONLY for out-of-state students. This session will not be available to take registrations until April.
